She was the Widow of William Everette Dalton. She was preceded in death by two children, Cheryl Ann Grenier of Dale City, VA and Paul Wesley Dalton of Springfield, VA. Joan is survived by William Alan Dalton of Springfield, VA, Cynthia Diane McDaniels of King George, VA and Floyd Jay Dalton of Ladysmith, VA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
She was a graduate of Atlantic City High school.
