John Baptiste Oliva passed away on March 17, 2016. Born April 26, 1930 to the late Anthony and Vittina (nee D'Angelo) Oliva. He is survived by his wife Ann Oliva. Loving father to Vittina Gorman, Crawford Peter Oliva and Christa Marple. Devoted grandfather to William Gorman, Nicholas Engel, Erica Marple and Jonathan Marple. Brother of Josephine. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Saase Oliva; brothers Edward, Matthew, Joseph, and sister Marion. Visitations will take place on Friday April 1, 2016 7 pm- 9pm and Saturday April 2, 2016 10am - 1pm at Demaine Funeral Home 5308 Backlick Rd. Springfield, VA 22151. A mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 7600 Old Keene Mill Rd, Springfield, VA 22152 on Saturday April 2, 2016 at 2:30 PM. Internment at Quantico National Cemetery on Monday April 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
