I’m late here but I thought of you today, as the spirit of the Christmas season is upon us.  I  was truly heartbroken upon learning of your passing. Though we were not blood relatives you always treated us like family. 

Thank you for your generosity, shared unconditionally, your  encouragement and advice. You were a friend to my father, who is often misunderstood, and both my parents always respected your seemingly limitless knowledge of all household remedies. We were always happy to see you at our doorstep and sad to see you go.  You will always be one of my cherished childhood memories. May you rest in eternal peace, love, and light.
