The Anniversary.  
The day you took your final breath. When your eyes close for the very
 last time. 
The last day that your voice would ever reach my ears. 
The day I wish we reached you in time. 
The day our hearts would start that forever aching. 
When we found out how cruel both life and death could be. 
The last day we'd ever feel whole. 
The anniversary of the day you died and so many parts of
us did too..
I know that you are watching over me. 
And i know that you are happy for me now. 
Because you know I'm strong.
Thank you for being my angel up above. 
You will never be forgotten. You'll be in my heart.

Thinking about you through the season and always.

Today should have been Josett's Graduation day..💔.. Instead my heart is heavy, looking ar her pictures, her drawing art work..
It is just another accomplishment missed.

Thank you for being their with me since day one and I’m glad we both had weird adventures together no matter ur still and will always be in my heart love you Katsumi

My heart is broken, falling apart.  Thousands of questions with no answers. 
No Christmas tree this year... always Josett was in charge for decoration.

No conoci a tu hija, pero yo soy una madre de "Girl Scouts."  Yo tengo una hija, "Mathilda"; tiene 10 anos.  Como madre, no puedo imaginar tu dolor.  Estas en mis oraciones.  En Navidad, el dolor puede ser mas fuerte.  Que su recuerdo te consuele.

Rest Josette’s soul. She was a good addition to our Hapkido family.  I remember when she would punch me on the side I didn’t expect during our training sessions, it was quite funny. May Josette live on in my heart, our hearts, and NOVA Hapkido’s heart. -Chris Fuller

Rita siento mucho su perdida, se que no hay palabras que puedan consolar su corazón, pero elebo mis oraciones para que Dios le brinde la fuerza, fortaleza y fe que necesita en estos momentos. Mi mas sentido pesame. 

I am so so sorry for your loss … I cannot imagine the pain your family is going through… I was not personally friends with Josett , but whenever I would see her I always thought of how similar her style was to mine and how pretty she is. I always wanted to get to know her , but never got the chance. She seemed very sweet , and i can tell whoever she encountered, she would touch their hearts. She touched mine without even interacting with me. You have mine, my families and others support. You are not grieving alone. We are all here to support you + comfort your entire family through this difficult time. 

We didn’t personally know Josett very closely besides seeing her in the neighborhood. My sister and I always said hi to her father and played with their cats. We would talk to the brother a bit and wish we got to know Josett; we thought she was so pretty and she had a lot of the common interests my sister does so I’m sure they would’ve been really good friends. I saw how loved she was, I would see her come off the bus and her dad would hug her and kiss her head. She was a beautiful girl with a beautiful life. Gone too soon, I hope she rests in peace and that God grants her family (especially her brother bc he is so so young) in this difficult time! Heartbreaking to see someone so young who had so much to see and experience in life go. Her family is very kind and although they will now live with a void, I hope her memories will keep them going <3. Ameen. 

I did not know Josett, but if she was anything like her mother, she was kind, fun, a lover of life, a brilliant light in this world. There are no words to explain the sorrow and pain being felt. She will live on in her photos, in your hearts, and in our prayers. My heart is heavy and you have nothing but my support to help you in any way you may need. 

I just learned of the loss of your daughter, Josett,  this evening. I did not know her. But I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my prayers throughout the season. I will ask, in prayer, that you be sent Hope, compassion, & understanding from all who know you. I will ask that you receive guidance, Love & peace always, throughout the coming years.  Josett will always be in the  heart’s of those who knew her.

I did not know your beautiful daughter. My daughter did. They shared a class and common friends. She speaks so highly of her, how nice she was and how respectful, with such a warm smile and how much they had in common as December babies. We are so so sorry for your loss, for Jo not having been able to reach all she would have achieved. My heart is hurting for you and although nothing I write will ease your pain, I am hoping that my prayers and silent tears will bring you strength and some warmth and some hope. I am grieving alongside your family. May God be with you in your grief and sorrow and wrap you up in his warmth and comfort.

Rita querida amiga, el dolor que sientes es muy grande para sanarte con mis palabras. A Dios le pido te de las fuerzas suficientes para seguir adelante. Dios quiso tener un ángel más en su morada solo el tiempo te ayudará a sobrellevar esta triste partida, tu niña vivirá en tu corazón y de todos las personas que la recuerdan, aprenderás a vivir con los lindos recuerdos que tienes de tu niña. Que descanse en paz y brille la luz perpetua  para Josett. Amén. Te queremos mucho. Tus hermanos de la 93. Te amamos y estámos contigo el dolor que sientes nosotros también lo 
 sentimos.

Jo was a student of mine last year.  She was quiet and underestimated.  What she could have become is a loss for all of our community.  I know that this abrupt void in your lives will forever be a source of hurt, but I pray all those who knew and loved her will find comfort in remembering how richly valued Jo was.  My deepest condolences. 

Nunca la conoci.  Me da mucha tristeza y lo siento tanto por esta enorme perdida.  Mis mas profundas condolencias a la familia.  Dios los guarde en su seno.

No hay palabra alguna para mitigar todo lo que están pasando en estos momentos , pero ruego a Dios todo poderoso los ayude brindándoles Serenidad y fortaleza , en estos duros momentos.

Josett was one of my students, and she is dearly missed. There is something missing in my classroom with her no longer here. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, and I’m keeping you all in my thoughts during this difficult time.

Yo se que nada de lo que se diga o haga hará que regrese, debes aprender a vivir con los buenos recuerdos y con la seguridad de que siempre será tu amada hija, por favor debes sacar fuerzas de donde no haya para seguir adelante, porque seguro estoy que así lo habría querido ella,  Dios colme tu vida de fortaleza y consuelo para seguir adelante, recibe un fuerte abrazo a la distancia y mis mas sentidas condolencias, por tan irreparable perdida... 

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter. While there is nothing we can do to help with your grief, I hope you will be able feel the care, concern and love from those around you, lifting you up and sending you strength. Those who knew your child and those who didn’t are thinking of you and praying for you and her. May your daughter rest in peace. I never knew Josett personally, I’ve never spoken or interacted with her. She went to my school, my bus too actually. I’m honestly so so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful girl and from what I’ve herd she had an amazing personality. Wish you the best ❤️ 

While I did not know Josett directly we know she was an active Girl Scout who volunteered to make her community a better place.  She was loved by her scout mates and will be missed.  We are all praying for the family and her friends.  Service Unit Girl Scout 52-9

Remember she made the front cover of Saratoga Elementary School  year book in 2017-2018. She has a beautiful smile and very kind. She will be missed. Our prayers are with you and your family. Thank you, Alyssa, Ashley, Melissa & Mike Dotimas 

I didn’t know your beautiful precious daughter. I heard of her passing through a friend. I’m keeping you in my prayers and praying that God  sends you any amount of comfort he can provide to you. My sincere condolences for your loss of such a precious child.
