Juliana Asilo Navarrete

It is with a heavy heart to announce that Juliana Asilo Navarrete, age 61, of Burke, Virginia passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones on February 17, 2025 after a long battle with cancer.

Juliana was born on July 1, 1963 in Caloocan City, Philippines. She graduated high school at Mapua Institute of Technology and went on to earn her degrees in Bachelor of Science in Commerce (major in Management) at Far Eastern University and Bachelor of Science in Education at National Teachers College. She worked as an Administrator of San Diego Holdings and Properties and as Head of Purchasing Department of Star Plastic Products Incorporated.

Juliana was a devout Catholic and active member of El Shaddai Charismatic Prayer Group. She also enjoyed shopping and swimming.

Juliana is survived by her beloved husband Reynaldo Navarrete, step-daughters Laurie Navarrete and Leanne Navarrete, sisters Susan Asilo, Marilyn Asilo, and Josefina Asilo, and brothers Generoso Asilo and Rolando Asilo. She was predeceased by her parents Ernesto Asilo Sr and Teresita Asilo, and her brother Ernesto Asilo Jr.

Juliana was a beacon of kindness and love. She will be missed, but will forever be remembered in our hearts.

May she rest in eternal peace.

A visitation for Juliana will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151.
