Kenneth P. Swanson

Kenneth (Bill) Swanson of Fairfax VA passed away at INOVA Fairfax Hospital on Monday, April 21, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Norma Swanson; loving father of Douglas P. Swanson of Front Royal VA, Kristin K. Holsworth (Steven) of Fairfax VA and the late Lynn J. Skutack (John). Kenneth was the proud grandfather of Eric P. Holsworth and Troy D. Holsworth. He is also survived by his sister Charlotte Frisvold (Harry), brother-in-law Dennis Stanius (Sharon), sisters-in-law Marilynn Mound, Jean Englund (Kenneth), Betty Lambert, Joann Grams, Maxine Johnston, Ardelle Stanius, Betty Stanius, and a host of nieces and nephews in Minneapolis MN. On May 4th at 4 PM family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at the King of Kings Lutheran Church, 4025 Kings Way, Fairfax VA. Immediately following the service, there will be a Celebration of Life at the Army Navy Country Club, 1700 Army Navy Drive, Arlington VA. Internment at Arlington National Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations be made to King of Kings Lutheran Church or a preferred charity.
