Ki Don Kim

Of Reston, Virginia passed away peacefully into Eternal Life on November 15, 2020. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at St. Paul Chung Catholic Church located at 4712 Rippling Pond Drive, Fairfax, Virginia, officiated by Reverend Tae Jin Benedicto Kim with interment to follow at 12:00pm at Fairfax Memorial Park Cemetery in Fairfax, Virginia. Due to Covid 19 restrictions attendance at the interment is limited to family members only and masks are required. Mr. Kim is most remembered for his love of family and sports. He was a sumo wrestler champion, black belt in taekwondo and judo. He enjoyed watching football and other local sports and was rarely seen without his signature “baseball cap”! Some of his favorite activities included playing soccer, traveling, reading, and taking long walks enjoying all the beauties of nature. All will miss his beautiful smile and cheerful disposition! He is survived by his brother, Mr. Ki Hong Kim, Seoul, Korea, sister, Jung Sook Kim, South Korea, sister, Mrs. Soo Ja Lee and husband Hwan Young Lee of Seoul Korea; son, Mr. Man Ho Kim of Gainesville, Virginia, son, Mr. Mountain Kim and wife Cynthia Filan-Kim, OFS, of Clifton, VA , son, Mr. Myung Ho Kim, of Falls Church, Virginia; daughter, Ms. Sun Sook Kim, Seoul, Korea, daughter, Mrs. Sun Mi Peters and husband Rev. Timothy Peters, Seoul Korea, daughter, Mrs. Sun Ju Kim and husband Young Sung Kim of Los Angeles, California. He was preceded in death by his loving spouse of 69 years, Mrs. Nam Ye Kim; and parents, Mr. Ik Hwan Kim, mother, Mrs. Sa Ma So; brother, Mr. Ki Joon Kim, and sister, Ki Sook Kim, Seoul, Korea, and sister, Ms. Choon Ae Kim; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
