Koula C. Lolos, 77, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2023. Born in Lamia, Greece, she immigrated with her family to Corpus Christi, Texas in 1951. Koula graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1968. She moved to California and then Virginia to work as a civil servant for the Social Security Administration. In her later years she retired in Fairfax, Virginia. Koula loved to travel, go to the theater, and go out with her friends. She was an active member of Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church and the Daughters of Penelope as president and served on the board. She is survived by her brother Constantine Lolos; her son Yiannis A. Lolos; her daughter-in-law Leigh Lolos; and her grandson Alexander Lolos. Internment Palo Alto, CA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 3149 Glen Carlyn Rd., Falls Church, VA 22041.
