Lana Jane Ray

She is survived by her 3 sons, Bob (Carol) Ray, Ron (Debi) Ray, and Kevin Ray, 5 grandchildren, Katie (Joseph) Harskamp, Kelsey (Adam) Jessell, David Ray, Jake Ray and Daniel Ray and 1 Great grandchild, Hadley Harskamp.

She is also survived by her brother, Buster (Toodie) Iverson along with many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Jim. Also preceded by her sister Ilene (Gil) Gillen, brother Alan Iverson, and in-laws Chuck and Ellie Ray and Sarah and Otto Schwarcz.

The following services will be held on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 to celebrate her life -

A viewing from 11am-1pm at Demaine Funeral Home at 5308 Backlick Rd. Springfield, VA 22151, and

A Celebration of Life from 1-4pm at Embassy Suites, 8100 Loisdale Rd, Springfield, VA 22150. (We'll celebrate GJ the way she loved best- together, with plenty of drinks and hors d'oeuvres.)

We welcome all who wish to join us in honoring and remembering her life. This will be a relaxed, informal gathering. Please feel free to come and go as you wish, in comfortable, casual attire.
