Lorraine was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Hilda and Lawrence Barger on September 21, 1933. She graduated from The Catholic High School of Baltimore and married Richard J. Brown on April 15, 1956. They enjoyed 69 years together.
Lorraine is survived by her loving husband Richard, three children: Sandy (John), Tim (Shelly) and Gary (Ani); seven grandchildren: Chelsea, Jeremy, Caroline, Nick, Connor, Luke and Lauren; great-grandchild Camden; sister Phyllis (Donald), brother Lawrence (Carol) and many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents Hilda and Lawrence, her sister Lois, brother Raymond and brother-in-law Jerome.
A Catholic Requiem Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025, at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, 7600 Old Keene Mill Road, Springfield, Virginia. Interment will take place at a later date at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland.
