A wonderful , gracious lady who had a special family and led such an interesting life. I was so lucky to know her as my aunt. She was one of my laughing and fun-loving aunts, each with their own distinctive melody. She will always have a place in my heart. I am sorry for your loss.

The Schaaf family has been a part of my life since approximately 1970 when I first met son, John. Of course meeting all the other Schaaf "children" quickly followed. I moved to No VA myself in 1975, then to Richmond in 1980. Throughout the years, the Schaafs had an open door policy for me and I had the privileged of enjoying many, many Thanksgivings and Christmases with the Schaafs. All cherished memories. But, almost most of all was when I received a call the Friday evening before my graduation from VCU in 1986 and Bob telling me, and I quote; "Marge and I are coming down to your graduation". What an honour and privileged to have them share in this occasion and, they got to meet my parents who were equally pleased. I thank all of the Schaafs for such wonderful memories and especially to Marge, always warm and inviting. Thank you!! Much love, Lloyd

grandma marge was such a sweet, gentle, kind of lady with lots of good spirit, and with much love and goodness overflowing from her heart....may we each take comfort knowing that she is indeed rejoicing and dancing into an "eternal homecoming" with her God and re-uniting with all her loved ones that have gone before...in the midst of our loss and sadness, may we be at peace! marie

I loved the time we spent together in California and Virginia with our families.
My visits with her the few years I lived back there were memorable talking about our kids and grandkids. She loved you all so much.
She lived a long and fulfilled life and now is at peace in the arms of our good Lord.
Peace be with all of you. Aunt Dee
