Maria Eugenia Sazonov passed away peacefully at her home in Annandale, Virginia on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 surrounded by her family. Loving wife of 33 years to Michael Sazonov. Beloved mother of Gregory, Alexandra, Michael Jr., and Michelle. Sister of Magdalena Copeland, Teresa Osorio, Monica Gross, Patricia Naranjo, Hugo Naranjo, preceded in death by her sister Michita Naranjo. Grandmother of Emma Sazonov, Addison Woodham, and Gretta Sazonov, and is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and relatives.
Cherished friend to many, Maria had incredible faith and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Friends and family may visit on Saturday, July 21, 2012 and Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 12-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield, VA.
A Mass will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 12 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Annandale, VA. Interment to follow at Columbia Gardens, Arlington, VA.
