

It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Oraa Amparado, who left this world on August 25, 2025, in Fairfax, Virginia. He was born on March 13, 1978, in the Philippines, and throughout his 47 years, he touched the lives of many with his warmth, generosity, and kindness.
Mark is survived by his devoted wife, Maria (Maowie), and their three beloved sons, Brandon Kyle, Zackary Roth, and Gavin Clyde. He will also be dearly missed by his brother Rey, sister Fe, brother-in-law Eli, nephews Jhayden and Caleb, nieces Aleighna and Ellorie, and many cherished relatives and friends.
Mark had a passion for life that shone through in everything he did. He loved music, especially playing the guitar, and found joy in riding his motorcycle or taking his family on long drives to the mountains and beaches. He was known as a “Jack of All Trades,” never shying away from a challenge and always eager to learn something new. Above all, Mark had the rare gift of turning simple conversations into meaningful life lessons, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Those who knew Mark will remember him as a loving husband, a proud father, and a loyal friend. His generous spirit, gentle nature, and ability to make others feel at ease will be carried in our hearts forever.
A memorial service to celebrate Mark’s life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151.
Funeral mass will be held on October 2, 2025 at 10:30am at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 6720 Union Mill Road, Clifton, VA 20124. Interment at Benedictine Sisters of Virginia, 9535 Linton Hall Road, Bristow, VA 20136.
