Mary was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and has been a resident of Springfield for over 60 years. She is the daughter of Carl and Ella Hinderer, wife to Robert Drummond, sister to Paul Hinderer, and has two living children Sherry Drummond-Moss and Michael Drummond.
Primarily a homemaker, she was heavily involved with her children, and served as a Girl Scout Leader for her daughter’s troop. She is a longtime member of Jubilee Christian Center in Fairfax.
She will be missed by her loving family and many friends.
Friends and family are welcome on Thursday, April 11 from 4-7 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield, for the visitation/viewing.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held at 11 am at Jubilee Christian Center, 4650 Shirley Gate Road, Fairfax. Internment will follow at Baltimore National Cemetery at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mary's name to the American Heart Association.
