Passed away on October 13, 2021. Born on March 14, 1929 in Washington, D.C., she was a 60-year resident of North Springfield, VA. She was preceded in death by husband William D. McGarey and son William. She is survived by sons Patrick and his wife Suzanne; Michael, his wife Katherine and son Alex; and Timothy, his wife Jennifer and daughters Kelly and Emily. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Annandale, VA on Friday, November 5 at 10:30 am. A private interment in Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
