Of Indiana, PA passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 in Washington, D.C. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Col. Peter B. Collins USMC; her daughters, Macgregor Collins and Keely Collins; her parents, Joseph and Barbara Mack; two brothers, Paul Mack and Jonathon Mack; a sister, Bethel Berner; and her extended family around the world. A visitation where family will receive friends will be on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd., Springfield, VA. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, 1 pm, April 7, 2010 at Immanuel Bible Church, 6911 Braddock Rd., Springfield, VA. Burial will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, or the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation in her name.
