Born on March 14, 1934 in Carroll Township, PA she is survived by her husband, Edward M. Kallok, and her three children, Gregory Kallok (of West Springfield), Randy Kallok (of Arlington), and Kathy Kallok (of West Springfield). She is also survived by her brother William Stetser, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Beloved mother and wife, Patricia was a bundle of never ending energy, always on the go and rarely resting even as she battled Parkinson’s Disease in later life. Her warmth, silly sense of humor, selflessness and inner strength will live in the hearts of her family and those that knew her forever.
She was profoundly grateful for the care that her three children took of her, the sacrifices that they made and the love that they showed her especially in the final months of her life.
Patty loved traveling to Europe with her daughter Kathy, tending her garden at the family home in West Virginia, reading anything she could get her hands on, lavishing love on her two dogs, Molly and Jake, and most importantly taking care of her family. When her children were young, Patricia taught tennis at North Springfield swimming pool introducing many young children to the joys of tennis.
She was the steadying hand and true matriarch of the family and will be greatly missed.
The family invites friends to a funeral service to be held on Monday May 7th at 5:00 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, in Springfield, Virginia. Reception details to be provided after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Patricia A. Kallok to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (https://www.michaeljfox.org/get involved/donation), Capital Caring Hospice (http://capitalcaring.org) or Saint Jude (https://www.stjude.org/donate)
