

Passed away peacefully on Sunday July 22, 2018. Paul was born in Philadelphia, PA to Regina and George Cook on September 6, 1947. Brother to sisters; Grace, Anne, Virginia, Geraldine, Maryrose, Rita, and brother George. Husband to Patricia since May 5, 1989. Loving father of daughter Colleen and son Adam; father-in-law of Patrick and Cara. Doting grandfather of Remy. Beloved by countless nephews, nieces and cousins. He was also devoted to his dogs and best friends, Izzie and Casper.
A graduate of West Catholic Boys High School Class of 1965, Paul earned a BA from La Salle University, Class of 1973. He served with distinction as a Medic in Vietnam from 1967-1969, and continued to serve his country as a dedicated civil servant for 37 years in the Department of Defense, where he earned numerous meritorious civilian awards, retiring as a Senior Executive in the Department of the Navy. Paul also survived the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon.
Having met his wife, Patricia (Langendorfer) while working for the Strategic Systems Program office, they were blessed with a daughter in December of 1989, and a son in September of 1994. He was a lover of his family, friends, Philadelphia sports teams and golf. Nothing stopped Paul from calling it like it was, having a gin and tonic and dancing like there was no tomorrow.
