

Paul is survived by his wife Pam of 48 years, daughter Cheryl-Lynn Malloy, son-in-law Michael Malloy, grandson Matthew Snediker, brother Marion Valentino and his wife Diane, sister Marta Valentino and cousins Yvette Candler and Joe Wilson.
A native of South Carolina, Paul, a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, received a bachelor’s degree in physical geography from the University of South Carolina in 1968 while being employed full-time with WIS and WNOK television stations in Columbia, South Carolina. Upon graduation, Paul received a commission in the United States Air Force, entered flight training becoming an electronics warfare officer and served in the Vietnam War. In 1977, Paul joined the Defense Intelligence Agency as an intelligence research officer, joined the Department of Energy’s Office of Intelligence in 1990 then in 1994 he returned to the Defense Intelligence Agency as the Executive Producer of the Defense Intelligence Network.
Paul actively pursued the life-long interests of amateur radio, vintage aircraft, flying and photography and won many achievement awards in the various societies and clubs of which he was a member.
Paul is remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and friend by all of those who were lucky enough to have him in their lives. A memorial service is scheduled to be held at a future date.
