Pepe arrived to the United States in 1986 after the passing of his mother and worked as a jeweler for most of his life. He spent his free time spoiling his grandchildren and traveling the world. He retired during the pandemic at age 70. Fatefully, he passed away around the 4th of July, which was the Independence Day for this country. A country that he considered his home, while also vacationing in his beloved birth country of Bolivia.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam Ruth Bustamante; sons, Roberto Bustamante, Jose Bustamante, and Marco Bustamante; daughters, Claudia Bustamante and Alejandra Jubran; grandchildren, Antonio, Julia, Sebastian, Adriana, Lola, Layla, Roman, Valentina, and Luna.
