Phyllis Morse Clark of Springfield, VA, formerly of Falls Church, VA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 26, 2020 at her home at Greenspring Village. She was born in Broadford, PA on July 23, 1925, and moved to Washington, DC in 1945, where she became a secretary at FBI Headquarters. It was there that she met her husband, an attorney and Special Agent with the FBI William Edward Clark. They were married in 1952. He predeceased her in 1995. Together they had two children: Ann Sue (Chris) Riddick of Leesburg, VA, and Craig (Debbie) Clark of Fairfax Station, VA. Four grandchildren joined the family: Michael and Mark Riddick, and Kristen Clark Harrison and Katherine Clark. Phyllis also lived to meet her four great-grandchildren Nathan and Meghan Riddick, and Christian and Francesca Riddick. In addition to her years at the FBI, Phyllis served as a secretary at Sleepy Hollow Elementary School in Falls Church for many years. She was a friend to all and always had a smile and often something humorous to share. She was a member of the Ex-FBI Women, bowled in a league for years, and served as an Elder at Falls Church Presbyterian Church.
