

Regelia Ann Morgan was born September 3, 1939 in Kaymoor, West Virginia and was called home to heaven Monday, May 12, 2025 in Fairfax, Virginia. Affectionally known to most as “Ann,” she was the daughter of Robert Freeman Wooten & Mary Emma Hairston Wooten and sister to Robert “June” Freeman Wooten, Jr., Alvin Delano Wooten, John Wesley Wooten, Evelyn Mae Wooten and Stanley Thomas Wooten.
Ann grew up in Kaymoor, West Virginia and Fayetteville, West Virginia, and graduated from Stratton High School in Beckley, West Virginia. Ann later married Raymond Darnell Morgan in Washington, DC. They later separated but remained married for over 62 years.
Raymond and Ann had two sons together, Keith Morgan and Raymond Morgan, Jr. Ann later had a third son, Morris Morgan. Ann raised her boys in Washington, DC, Fayetteville, West Virginia and Columbus, Ohio throughout their childhood. She also lived in Dover, Delaware, Washington, DC, Alexandria, Virginia and Annandale, Virginia.
She enjoyed taking road trips, visiting with family and friends, water coloring, and drawing. She was a very talented artist and cook who lovingly prepared art projects and meals for her family. She was known for her humor and sharp wit. In her later years, she was lovingly cared for by her dear brother Stanley Wooten, and her son Raymond with whom she resided. Stanley and Raymond catered to her every need and formed a special bond with her. She treasured all her sons, grandchildren and entire family.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Darnell Morgan and her son Morris “Tiger” Vernard Morgan. She is survived by her children, Keith “Buddy” Reginald Morgan (Andrea), Raymond “Red” Darnell Morgan, Jr. (Virginia), her grandchildren Alisha Ann Morgan, Amanda Taylor Morgan, and Justin Matthew Morgan. She is also survived by her brother, Stanley Thomas Wooten, and by many loving cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Services will be held at Lifestream Church of the Nazarene, 5105 Leonardtown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Visitation: Thursday, June 12th, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Memorial Service: Thursday, June 12th, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Repast: Thursday, June 12th, 12:00 p.m.
Interment: Friday, June 13th, Quantico National Cemetery, Quantico, VA (Private)
