On November 5, 2018, at his home in Annandale, VA. Bob was married to the love of his life, Cora Nell Logwood, who preceded him in death by two years. He was the devoted Father to Kenneth R. Logwood and Beverly L. Hammond (David). He adored his Grandchildren Jessica King (Billy) and Megan Hammond.
Bob was native to Alexandria, VA. After serving in the Korean War, Bob and Nell married and resided in Falls Church. They moved to Annandale in 1956 where they lived the rest of their lives.
Bob will be remembered for his amazing laugh and sense of humor, his faith, his strength of character, and his complete devotion to his family. He will be sorely missed.
Services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Annandale on Monday morning November 12, beginning with a viewing at 11:00 and a celebration of his life at 11:30. Burial and gravesite service will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Vitas Healthcare, 1604 Spring Hill Road, Suite 450, Vienna, VA 22182, or to FPCA, his church of 45 years.
