Roxanne Newman Janosky passed away on Wednesday, 16 April 2025, in Springfield, Virginia, surrounded by loved ones. She was 64 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Bill Janosky for 20 years; daughter of the late Eleanor Kreiser Newman. Roxanne is survived by her daughter, Amelia Jane Newman, of Philadelphia. After a Navy career that took Roxanne to Pensacola, FL, Norfolk VA, the Azores, London and Stuttgart, Germany, Roxanne settled in Northern Virginia. Most recently, Roxanne was a member of the Army’s Intelligence Command (INSCOMM) Command Group at Fort Belvoir for many years. The family wishes to give special thanks to VITAS Hospice for their care of Roxanne. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, 8 May 2025, 5:30-7:30 pm, at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield VA 22151.
