On January 13, 2025, at the age of 81 years old, Samuel peacefully passed away at his residence in Alexandria, VA. Samuel is preceded into heaven by his mother Jane Ann Mariah Francis, his father Joseph Tonge, his brother Val Tonge, and sister Veora Tonge.
Samuel is survived by his loving daughter Kimberly DuPorte; brothers: Leroy , George; many nieces, nephews, cousins, a large extended family, and close friends residing in the United States, Antigua, and England.
Samuel’s daughter, Kimberly, would like to thank The Goodwin Hospice Care team: Nurse Kathy, Chaplain Theresa, Social Workers Melissa & Mickey, and Doula Jane, for all their tremendous care and support.
Samuel will be missed by many, but he will forever be in our hearts.
