Carson Benjamin Scheirer, age 76, of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012. Beloved husband of Marie France Scheirer; Loving father of Isabel Powell, Carolyn Teat, Carson Scheirer, Jr., James Scheirer and Denise Riggs; grandfather of Antoinette, Patricia, Patrick, David, James, Christina, Elizabeth, Madilyn and Megan; great-grandfather of Phillip and Tori. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 15th at the DEMAINE FUNERAL HOME, 5308 Backlick Rd., Springfield, VA, where the family will be present from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 24th at the Ft. Myer Chapel at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery.
