Susan was born in Syracuse, NY to Peter and Felicia Kolakowski on March 6, 1944. She graduated from St. Lawrence University and spent the early part of her career teaching English at Wakefield High School in Arlington, where she met her future spouse, Francis Sheedy. Later, Susan became a realtor and worked for Long & Foster for over two decades. She lived a vibrant life, saw the good the everyone, and was generous with her time and affection.
Susan is preceded in death by her husband, Francis. She is survived by her daughter, Allison F. Sheedy of Washington (Dan), and grandchildren August Walsh, Fynn McInnis, and Hebrides McInnis.
