Terri was born February 7, 1942 to George and Grace Anderson. She was a Falls Church High School graduate class of 1960. She attended and graduated from University of Tennessee where she met her husband Samuel (Butch) Blaeuer. She became a grade school teacher, raised three children, and worked in the family pet store business.
Terri had a passion for taking cruises and traveling the world, visiting places such as Greece, Norway, Alaska, Caribbean, Costa Rica, Australia, China, and her favorite Hawaii. She met her second love Bob Madden on a cruise, The Amazing Grace (she thought that was a sign from her mother), and they enjoyed cruising and their time together. Terri was passionate about gardening, tending to her dogwoods, azaleas, impatiens, and nurturing a tranquil backyard oasis. She also enjoyed her Miniature Schnauzers (including Shadow, Midnight, Muffin, Trouble, Precious, Devil Dog, Snoozer, Snoopy and Nebo), bowling with her friends, Virginia Pets softball, playing Golden Girls softball, eating good food especially Maryland crabs, reading good books and scandal sheets, Murder She Wrote, and attending every Redskin Superbowl.
Terri was preceded in death by her husband Samuel, father George, mother Grace, brother Doug, son Todd, and boyfriend Bob. She is survived by her son John, daughter Tracy, grandsons Samuel, Benjamin, and Bobby, brother Bruce, nephews Tim and Brian, and nieces Kristen, Shannon, and Ellen.
In order to protect the safety of everyone during the Covid pandemic, we have decided to have a celebration of life party in the spring.
