John the Baptist Y Van Nguyen peacefully passed away at Manor Care of Arlington, Virginia on 5 February 2012; beloved father of nine children. He is survived by thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, 10 February 2012 from 9 am – 9 pm and on Saturday, 11 February 2012 from 9 am – 11 am at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, 11 February 2012 at 12 noon, Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington, Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201.
