Alleen Anna Jaggi

Alleen Anna Jaggi, born in Brentwood, MO to Henry and Ann (nee Prestein) Ruck on January 20, 1922 passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the age of 94 in St. Peters, MO surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Francis M. Jaggi, married on April 27, 1945; son-in-law, Barry Winscher; and her brothers, Charles and Lawrence "Bud" Ruck.

Alleen is survived by her children, Dennis (Janet) Jaggi of Edmond, OK, Susan Winscher of Riverside, CA, and Jackie (Gerry) Cunningham of St. Charles, MO; grandchildren, Gregory Jaggi, Jeremy Winscher, Ryan Jaggi, Eric Winscher, Mark Winscher, and Christopher Cunningham; great grandchildren, Nicholas Jaggi, Jillian Jaggi, Callie Faye Jaggi, and Calvin Winscher; sisters, Mary Gerrein and Shirley Needy; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Alleen spent most of her life in and around Overland, MO and was a member of the Overland Historical Society. She and her family also lived in Rolla, MO where they made many treasured lifelong friends. There she was an active member of Newcomers Bridge Club and volunteered with Meals on Wheels.

Alleen was happiest when surrounded by friends and family. Together, she and Francis enjoyed traveling and had many cherished memories of camping, fishing, and boating. In recent years, one of Alleen’s favorite activities was meeting with her sisters and friends at the casino on Wednesday afternoons to eat lunch and “spend her children’s inheritance”.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann, MO. Funeral service is on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11a.m. with Pastor Mark Rouland presiding. Interment to follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Memorials area appreciated to the Zion Lutheran Harvester Church in St. Peters.
