Beauford "Pete" Cookson passed on September 28, 2026, at the age of 90. He was born on February 1, 1936, to Aaron and Irene (nee Wagner) Cookson. They have preceded him in death, as have his siblings: Joseph Cookson, Kathleen Swindell, Elizabeth Holland, and Bonnie Cookson. Pete is survived by his siblings: Harold Cookson, Duane "Howard" Cookson, Frieda Alexander; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Pete proudly served in the United States Army. He enjoyed his career with McDonnell Douglas/Boeing. He loved to read, and loved to travel.
