Betty Jean Roberts, age 92, of Maryland Heights, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. She was born March 7, 1932, to Walter and Nova (nee: Storms) Crapo. They have preceded her in death, as has her loving husband of 70 years Donald Roberts, and her brothers Dewey Crapo and David Crapo. She is survived by: her son Rick Roberts; her daughter Tina (Gregg) Hoerchler; her grandchildren: Donald (Jessica), Casey (Beth), Katelyn (Tom), and Tyler; and her great-grandchildren: Liam, Kai, Evangeline, Kingston, Desmond, Clementine, Primrose, Avery, Lucy, Ellie, Logan, and Amelia.
Betty was a kind and caring person who loved her family very much. She was baptized at Shannon Baptist Church. She was a creative person, and especially enjoyed making beautiful floral arrangements. Her family enjoyed her humor - she could always be counted on to provide witty comments. Later in life she enjoyed watching the world go by through her front door. Passers by would look for her and wave, and would ask about her when she wasn't there. Betty loved animals. Her dogs were her family. She loved having statues and pictures of all kinds of animals around the house.
