Clara Marie Larrabee

Clara is survived by her daughters, Sue (Tom) Okruch of Imperial, Sharon (Mike) Wurm of Sparks, Nevada, and Cindy (Vince) Gelezunas of Weldon Spring. Clara is also survived by her brother, John (Maureen) List of Homosassa, Florida. She was blessed with four grandchildren. Kelsey Okruch of Columbia, Missouri, Lauren Okruch of Dublin, Ireland, Megan Wurm of Hyattsville, Maryland, and Zach Wurm of Sparks, Nevada. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Gary and her parents Clara and John List.

Clara spent a 20 plus year career at Branneky True Value Hardware in Bridgeton as the office manager/bookkeeper.

Clara was an artisan with many talents. She made clothing for her children while they were growing up. She was a skilled jewelry maker and her biggest passion was knitting.

She enjoyed knitting at the Weaving Department in the historic Meyers House, meeting monthly with friends at Panera in Florissant, Stitch-n-Chat at the library and most recently, gathering to knit at Gittemeyer House. Clara enjoyed helping and sharing her knitting skills with many.

It was a blessing that her family was able to be by her side to share her favorite coffee ice cream and say goodbye.

Services will be held at Jefferson Barracks at a later date.
