Cynthia M. Beirne, cherished wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2024. Born to James Williams and Jean Groszek, Cynthia was a beacon of warmth and kindness throughout her life. She is now reunited with her parents and her father-in-law, Richard J. Beirne, who preceded her in death.
Cynthia leaves behind her devoted husband of 31 years, Brian A. Beirne, with whom she shared a life filled with love, adventure, and companionship. She is also survived by her loving mother-in-law, Jo Ann Beirne, her siblings Steve, Tom, and Nancy, and her brother-in-law Tim (Mary). Her niece Rachel, along with Rachel's children, who saw Cynthia as a beloved great-aunt, will deeply miss her nurturing spirit. Cynthia's dear friend Mary Ann Rosener and her Baskin-Robbins family, where she was seen as a motherly figure, will also feel her absence profoundly.
Cynthia had a passion for life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed crocheting, often crafting items that brought comfort and joy to those around her. Her love for dogs was unparalleled; she rescued six dogs over the years, providing them with loving homes. An avid outdoorswoman, Cynthia found peace in nature, whether she was camping, fishing, or enjoying country music. Her yearly trips to Wisconsin with Brian were a highlight, where she would often outfish him, catching the biggest fish without even trying.
Cynthia's love for her job at Baskin-Robbins was evident to all who worked with her. She was more than just a coworker; she was family, a guiding light, and a source of unwavering support. Winnie the Pooh held a special place in Cynthia’s heart, a symbol of the simple, sweet, and enduring love she shared with those around her.
Cynthia's life was a testament to kindness, love, and the joy found in the little things. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to live on in the memories and hearts of those she touched.
A Visitation for Cynthia will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074.
