

Dulcie I. Hardy (nee Frueh), 101, of Maryland Heights, Alive with her Saviour in Heaven from February 20, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Emma Frueh; her husband, Herbert Harry Hardy; and a brother, Edward (Ruth) Frueh. Dulcie is survived by her children, Ronald (Linda) Hardy, Linda Hardy, and James (Jeanne) Hardy; grandchildren, David (Stephanie) Hardy, Jonathan (Mechele) Hardy, Stephen (Jennifer) Hardy, Jennifer Nicole (Jeff) Tedder, and Aaron (Febe) Hardy; great grandchildren, Sarah, Megan, Christopher, Lindsay “Liam”, Luke, Kate, Brielle, and Andrew, Krissell, Jared, Leah, Scarlett, and Joshua.
Dulcie was a kind and generous woman who was a faithful servant of the Lord. She was a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church and dedicated her life to the Lord during her confirmation at the age of 11. She was a stay at home mom for many years. She also worked at Wagner Electric Corporation where she met her husband. Later she worked at the U.S. Army Record Center and the Morris Mill branch of the U.S. Postal Service. Dulcie was a talented seamstress and a perfectionist in all of her handiwork including quilting, crocheting, knitting, general crafting, and painting. She and her husband enjoyed fishing and travelling together. Dulcie remained active and led a long life enjoying her family, line dancing, jigsaw puzzles, word puzzles, and stamp collecting. She greatly enjoyed her many friendships over the years. Her kind heart will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Friends may visit on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 3-6 p.m. at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann until time of service at 6 p.m.. Dulcie will be laid to rest with her husband at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
