

Everday Wilkins was born on July 31, 1950 in Los Angeles, CA to the union of James and Clara Wilkins, the fifth of six children. He spent his childhood growing up in Compton CA, where he graduated from Centennial High School and later attended Long Beach College.
As a child Everday attended Community Lutheran Church where he accepted Jesus Christ and served as an acolyte at a young age.
In September 1976 he met his beloved wife Jackie while working at National Steel and Shipbuilding in San Diego, CA. They united in holy matrimony on April 23,1978 in Las Vegas, NV and remained married for 47 years and had 49 years of friendship until his departure. Everday had three children when he met Jackie, Angela, Devon and Rosalyn and to their union was born one daughter Charese.
Everday spent over 35 years as a truck driver completing a million miles of driving without an accident which he was very proud of. He loved playing the congos and having jam sessions with his brother John and Teddy, his best friend and many other friends and having a great time over the years.
He attended St. Stephen’s Church of God Christ in San Diego, CA, St Paul Baptist Church in Oxnard, CA where he was president of the usher board and upon moving to St. Louis, MO attending Transformation Christian Church and World Outreach Center in St. Louis, MO where he was a member for 33 years and loved serving in music ministry playing the congos serving the Lord with all his heart. Everday loved fishing, National Hot Rod Association(NHRA) and frequently did Taichi for physical health.
Everday participated in the Community Fellows Research Training program and was on the Patient Research Advisory Board both affiliated with Washington University in St.Louis, MO to address health disparities.
He always had a giving spirit and a desire to bless others touching the hearts of many. God's servant lived a loving life, loving his wife, family and friends and is at eternal rest. His parents and two brothers Alex and John preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his loving wife Jackie, children Angela (Rodney) Johnson, Devon (Tina) Wilkins, Rosalyn (Greg) Cavanaugh and Charese Williamson. God-children, Desiree Edwards, Theodore Jenkins and Kailani Scott, Aaron Waddell (bonus son). One brother Lloyd (Etsu) Wilkins, two sisters Yvonne Hinkle and Lynette (Marvin) Lewis. Grandchildren; Daveon, Terryne, Tiara, Vontinae, Jilvonae, Pierce, Jacob, Amariah, Branae and Charae and great-grands. He is also survived by a host of family members, extended family and friends who he dearly loved.

A Memorial Service for Everday will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Maryland Heights Community Center, 2300 McKelvey Rd, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.
