Frances Fay Hofmann

Known to all who loved her as Fran, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and dear friend. As a gifted artist, Fran found great joy in sharing her talent by teaching painting classes and encouraging others to discover their own creativity. She was also the proud owner of Fran's on Main, a charming gift shop that reflected her warmth and welcoming spirit. Her customers quickly became her friends, and many stopped in as much to visit with Fran as they did to shop. Her warm smile and outgoing personality made everyone feel at home.

Fran leaves behind her loving husband, Larry Hofmann; her daughter, Katherine (Brent) Fullerton; her son, Daniel (Vickie) Hofmann; her sister, Carol Tiernon; her brother, Charles (Charlene) Tiernon; her granddaughters, Amanda (Scott) Peterson, Tiffany Hofmann, and Sarah (Trevor) Murray; her grandson, Steven Benga Hofmann; and eight cherished great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Frances Tiernon; her father, Robert George Tiernon; and her brother, Robert Louis Tiernon.

Fran lived a life filled with love, compassion, creativity, and generosity. She touched countless lives with her gentle spirit, artistic gifts, and kind heart. The love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Fran's legacy of love, creativity, and friendship will live on in the many lives she touched. She was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

Visitation will be held at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, on July 23, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, on July 24, 2026, at 10:30 am, followed by the Committal Service at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
