Frieda was preceded in death by her mother, Naomi; her daughter, Angie Nilges; and her sister, Shirley.
She is survived by her children, Perry (Rhonda) Grant and Karen Barnes (Bob); her 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Charles (Theressa) Whitford and Herbert Martin; and her brother-in-law, Keith. She also leaves behind many beloved friends and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
Frieda loved her family and was happiest when everyone was together. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed bringing people together during the holidays. She was known for her homemade cookies and candies and never let anyone leave her home without taking some with them. She loved cooking for every holiday and opening her home to family and friends.
Her dogs, Daisy, Ellie, Gracie, and Toby, held a special place in her heart and were loved as though they were her own children. Frieda’s greatest joy was the love she shared with her family, and her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
