Georgia M. Phillips (nee Price), 88, was born May 31, 1926 in Redford, MO and passed away at Bentley Extended Care on Saturday, September 13, 2014. She was the loving daughter of the late, Essie Kohut (nee Price).
She leaves to mourn her passing one uncle, Edward (Faye) Price of Farmington, MO; aunt, Dorsline Fox of St. Ann, MO; and several cousins and friends.
Georgia spent most of her life in St. Louis, MO. She worked at the Courtney-Breckenridge Commodities Firm from the time she graduated from high school until her retirement. She loved to read and every morning was spent with the daily newspaper and a cup of joe! She donated to several charities--especially the Humane Society as she was an avid lover of animals.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the Missouri Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
Services: Friends may call on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 10-11 am at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Private entombment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
