Gerald Schmidt, on Saturday May 21, 2011. Beloved husband of Helen Schmidt (nee Edmonds); loving father of Bill (Crystal) Schmidt; loving grandfather of Gavin Schmidt; our dear Brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle cousin and friend. Mr. Schmidt was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Ruth Schmidt.
Mr. Schmidt served his country proudly during the Vietnam War earning a Purple Heart. He was an avid stamp and post card collector.
