Geraldine Jones Moonsamy

Geraldine Jones Moonsamy, age 65, of Bridgeton, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Geraldine was the middle child of seven children born to parents Frank and Johnnie Mae Jones (who have preceded her in death) of St. Louis, MO, where Geri was a lifetime resident. Geraldine met and married Robert Moonsamy, and they were happily married for over 36 years. In addition to her husband, Geri is also survived by; her children: Clara (John), Rachael; her grandchildren: Robert, Heaven, Saniah; her siblings: Vicky Warren Henderson (the late Welton).Vernon Warren (Freida), Earline Jones Dixon (Tyree), Frank Jones, Jr., Terry Jones Collins (DeRon), Kenneth Jones (Georgia); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Geri was a devoted wife and mother and loved her family deeply. She opened her home to her mother-in-law Clara Moonsamy for more than 10 of her last golden years with care. Geri was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Creve Coeur, where she received Jesus Christ at a young age, and truly loved the Lord. Geraldine gained an associate degree at Florissant Valley Community College. Geraldine retired from Dierbergs as a sales associate in the European Bakery Department. Geri will be missed by all, with her hearty laughter, warm hugs, and awesome magnetic personality.
