Gladys Bertha Beckman, nee Hansen, of St. Peters, Missouri passed away on her 97th birthday on Monday the 13th of May, 2024 at her home. She was born on May 13th 1927 in St. Louis to John T. and Alma K. Hansen, nee Fox. She was a graduate of Beaumont High School.
She was united in marriage to William G. Beckman on August 6, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William on November 10, 2004. Gladys is survived by two daughters, Donna J. Robinson and Sandra A. Howell (David D.), her granddaughter Sonia M. Wagner, nee Zuroweste, four grandsons, R. Scott Zuroweste, Jason D. Howell (Victoria), Jeffrey H. Howell (Susan), and James C. Howell. She also leaves behind five Howell great-grandchildren; Owen, Hailey, Maggie, Lily, and Emma.
Gladys enjoyed traveling with her husband William across the U.S. attending numerous U.S. Navy Reunions and stopping at many a landmark along the way. She impacted many lives, most of all those of her family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association or the charity of the donors choice.
A remembrance and memorial service will be held on Friday May 31st, 2024 from 4pm to 7pm at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home located at 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd. St. Ann, Mo. 63074
