James K. Swiney, 69, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, June 19, 2017. Loving husband of Margaret (nee Stone) of 48 years; beloved father of Stephen (Debra) Swiney, Stacy Swiney, and Jeffrey (Jessica) Swiney; dearest grandpa of Lillian, Harrison, Grayson, and Olivia; loving brother of Lou (Tina) Swiney; dear brother-in-law; uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
James enjoyed the outdoors and nature and spent time woodworking and hunting. He was an avid bow hunter who hunted deer and turkey. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann, MO from 10 a.m. until noon. A memorial service will be held at noon with Dignity Celebrant, Liz Zempel. Memorials in his honor are appreciated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the MO Department of Conservation.
