Jean was a kind soul with a love for her husband “Red”, and animals and nature, especially evident in her passion for gardening and her love of their many pets throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter "Wally" and Dorothy "Dottie" Christiansen; her sister Judith Ann Langdon; her husband Franklin "Red" Garner; stepson Michael Garner; and step-grandsons Ryan Garner and Murphy Beelek.
Jean is survived by her sister, Christine Bero; step daughter Kim LaGrand; daughter Denise Shibe (Bob); son Jeff Wade; along with grandchildren (Christopher, Paul, Laura, Stephanie, Lucy, Sarah, Josh, Cindy, Jessica, Jasmine), and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made in Jean's memory to The Humane Society of St. Louis, Missouri.
A visitation for Jean will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date, at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, St. Ann, MO.
