He is preceded in death by his parents Biatio and Maria Tumbarello, his first wife Catherine Jane Tumbarello, his son, Lawrence Tumbarello, and his daughter Sharon Lee Harris. He is also preceded in death by his grandchildren Travis Brown and Christopher Brown.
John was the cherished grandfather of Michael Brown, great-grandfather of Shayna Brown and great great-grandfather of Shawn and John Brown.
John had various jobs as he was growing up. He went to school to learn about television repair. John and Charlie Yarble opened a shop called “Chart” located in St. Ann, Missouri. For 44 years they serviced televisions, radios, tape recorders, remote controls, and Atari games. They dd industrial work for General Motors and Walgreens. John loved his job and always looked forward to going each day!
John enjoyed helping everyone. He worked with scouts and did many church activities. He was a terrific Italian cook and a great listener. Golf was his game. It was a delight for him to play with his card group every month. John had a special way about him that made others feel important. His final years were spent in joyful companionship with his second wife, Lana Tumbarello. He was a man truly loved by all!
Visitation will be held at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, US, on July 7, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location on July 7, 2026, beginning at 10:30 am, with burial at at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 11101 St Charles Rock Rd, Saint Ann, MO 63074, US.
