Joseph Pruden passed away at his home December 22, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Linda Pruden. He was the proud father of Marty (Glenda) Pruden and Christy Carpenter; fantastic grandfather of Nicole and Nathan Pruden and Trevor and Alyssa Carpenter. Services: A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday December 27, at ALEXANDER-WHITE- MULLEN Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, Mo. Burial will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday December 26 at the funeral home.
Joe was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan and so it is fitting to note that in 1931, the year Joe was born, the Cardinals won the World series in seven games against the Philadelphia Athletics. Just two months before his death Joe was able to cheer the Cardinals to victory in a World Series win over the Texas Rangers.
In addition Joe was known for raising tasty tomatoes in his garden, and he was an avid bowler.
