Larry E. Bright, of St. Ann, MO, passed away, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at the age of 95. Loving husband of over 75 years to Hazel F. Bright who preceded him in death in 2018; He leaves his children, Helen Brown, Larry Bright, Jr., Debby (Ron) Bright-Mudd, and Pam Oney; grandchildren, Bryan Carroll, Lisa Carroll, Jason Bright, Jeremy Bright, Casey French, Stacy O’Gary, Ryan Mudd, Carrie Mercer, and Cody Oney; 18 great grandchildren; He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Larry was retired from the St. Louis County Water Department and a member of the American Legion Post 338, and the VFW. Larry served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945. He had been a member of First Baptist Church of St. Ann since 1952, and enjoyed getting involved in the church activities. Larry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
