Margaret was born on November 3, 1922, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Louis and Clara Payer (nee: Holub). She was the devoted wife of the late Harold Lienhop; loving mother of Steven Harold Lienhop (Sandra) and Cynthia Ann Lienhop Cornelius (the late Leslie); cherished grandmother of David, Scott, Lori, Adam, and Nathan; treasured great grandmother of Griffin, Grant, and Dominic; and dear aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Margaret was the third youngest of 10 children, 5 brothers and 4 sisters, and the last surviving member of her siblings. She was a long-time member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Maryland Heights, MO and a former volunteer at DePaul Hospital. She was a very devoted and loving mother, taking great pride in her children and their accomplishments. In her youth, she loved to dance (Big Band music and Bing Crosby being her favorite music to dance to), and she was quite a talented artist, creating oil paintings of birds and flowers. In more recent years, Margaret loved working in her garden, taking great care of her collection of teddy bears, and feeding & admiring the birds that visited her back yard. She will be remembered as a genuinely good-hearted woman who was not just a wonderful wife, mother, sister and aunt, but also a truly good friend. Margaret will truly be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
