Marilyn "Mickey" Marie Kranz, 81, of Maryland Heights, MO passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Rosella (nee Dwyer) Gantner and her sons, Alan and Edward Kranz. Mickey is survived by her devoted grandson, Daniel Kranz and her great grandchildren, Grayson and Daniel Kranz. Her strong spirit and spunk will be greatly missed.
Mickey was a caring and compassionate woman who was also spunky and feisty! Her father taught her the skill of drag boat racing and many summers were spent at George Winter Park Lake. She wasn't shy and would sing publicly just to embarrass her dad. Mickey spent her career helping patients in the field of nursing and spent the end of her career in home health care. She loved country music, boating, and fishing and wasn't above drinking a beer with a straw!
Friends may visit on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. She will be laid to rest privately at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Condolences are appreciated at www.alexanderstlouis.com.
