Mary Jane Payne (nee Dell), 94, of Bridgeton, MO passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. She was one of 13 children born to Charles and Emma (nee Cook) Dell. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Urie James Payne; a son, Lloyd; and a granddaughter, Samantha.
Mary Jane is survived by her loving sons, Jim (Cynthia) and John (Jackie); grandchildren, Robbin, Brian, Jeff, Danny, Whitney, and Chelsea; and great grandchildren, Collin, Tyler, Wyatt, Andrew, and Luke.
Mary Jane always put her family first in everything and was an incredibly strong and energetic lady. Widowed early in life, she spent many years working in food preparation for Schnucks Markets to support her family. She was very organized and her yard and home were always perfectly tidy! She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Please offer condolences at www.alexanderstlouis.com.
